Connect online payments with Stripe
Start Stripe Connect onboarding and check whether the payment account is active.
Owner
Bookibo uses Stripe Connect for online payments. Open Settings → Payments.
Connect the account
- Select Connect with Stripe.
- Bookibo redirects you to the Stripe onboarding page.
- Complete the information requested by Stripe.
- Return to Settings → Payments and review the connection status.
Bookibo shows one of three states:
- Not connected — no Stripe account has been attached yet;
- Under review — the account exists, but charges are not enabled;
- Active — Stripe reports that charges are enabled.
For an active connection, select Open Stripe dashboard to open the connected account dashboard in a new tab.
Enable prepayment in a widget
After payments are active, open the required widget and enable prepayment. The current widget form uses full mandatory prepayment when the switch is on.
Account verification, settlement timing and payout settings are handled by Stripe and are not configured in the Bookibo form.
