Getting started
User roles and access
Understand what owners, administrators and specialists can see and manage.
Bookibo has three user roles. The available menu and actions depend on the role in the selected venue.
Owner
The owner has access to appointments, time blockers, clients, team, services, reports, venues, widgets and company preferences. The owner can:
- view appointments and blockers for the entire team;
- create and remove venues;
- manage specialists and administrators;
- view all team members;
- manage company settings and billing.
Administrator
An administrator can work with appointments, blockers, clients, team members, services, venues and widgets. Administrators can see the entire venue calendar and manage specialists, but cannot create or remove venues or manage administrators.
Specialist
A specialist has access to their own appointments and time blockers. Specialists cannot open the client, team, service, report, widget or company preference sections. Client phone numbers are also hidden from specialists in appointment details.
Access is venue-specific
When a user switches venue, Bookibo reloads the data and permissions for that venue. A team member can therefore have different access in different venues.
