Remove services and categories safely

Services and categories belong to the currently selected venue. Check the selected venue before removing anything.

Remove a service

1. Open Services and select the service.
2. Choose Delete Service.
3. Confirm the message Are you sure you want to delete this service? This action cannot be undone.

The service disappears from the active service list and cannot be selected for a new appointment or online booking. Existing appointments keep their original service information, so calendar history and completed-appointment reporting are not erased.

Bookibo does not currently provide a restore action for deleted services in the application. If the service may be needed later, edit its name, assignments or other details instead of deleting it.

Remove a category

1. Open Services and select the category.
2. Open the category edit form and choose Delete Category.
3. Confirm Are you sure you want to delete this category?

Deleting a category also removes all active services still inside it from the active lists and online booking. To keep a service, edit it first and move it to another category or leave it uncategorised.

Before confirming either deletion, check active widgets and future appointments so that clients are not offered an unintended replacement and the team knows how existing bookings will be handled.
